Thoughtfully engineered safety for heavy roll containers
The Alpha casters on the fire service roll containers are connected by a robust linkage. An operating handle transfers the hand movement through a gas spring to a second bar. This locks or releases all casters simultaneously without bringing the container to an abrupt stop.
An additional dust guard on the swivel bearing limits sideways caster movement. This reduces the risk of tipping when the casters are locked – an important safety feature for heavy roll containers.
