The Linea clinic is a swivel caster with central, total or directional lock designed for demanding medical environments and healthcare applications. The caster features a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, which allows for secure mounting on hospital bed frames and medical equipment; however, washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper functionality and hygiene compliance. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation and reliable performance under continuous use. The wheel assembly consists of a 5.91 inch diameter wheel with an injected polyurethane tread mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a precision stainless steel ball bearing that provides durability and corrosion resistance in sterile hospital environments. The overall height of the caster is 6.1 inches, making it suitable for integration into various medical equipment configurations. The caster demonstrates a static load capacity of 992.08 pounds, while the dynamic load capacity reaches 330.69 pounds at speeds up to 2.49 miles per hour and 330.69 pounds at speeds up to 1.86 miles per hour, ensuring safe operation across multiple medical applications including anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, hospital beds, medication carts, nursing and retirement home furniture, nursing carts, stretchers, ultrasound equipment, and ventilator stands.
