The Linea safety is an automatic locking system caster designed for demanding medical and industrial applications including anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, care beds, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, media furniture, medication carts, mobilization and special needs equipment, nursing carts, ultrasound systems, and ventilators. The caster features a threaded stem with hexagon neck, top fitting that provides secure and reliable mounting to various equipment bases. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing swivel mechanism, ensuring smooth rotation and extended operational life. The wheel assembly consists of a 3.94 inch diameter wheel with an injected polyurethane tread mounted on a polyamide body, both supported by a precision ball bearing for optimal performance and durability. The overall height of the caster is 5.08 inches, providing appropriate clearance for most medical equipment configurations.
