The Kappa load is a swivel caster with total lock, head end of caster designed for heavy-duty industrial applications. It features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting to equipment. The housing is constructed from cast iron, or iron forged, heavy material and incorporates a deep-groove ball thrust roller bearing swivel mechanism for smooth directional changes. The wheel consists of a casting body with ultratech polyurethane, casted tread material and precision ball bearing for optimal performance, measuring 6.3 inches in diameter. The overall height of the unit is 8.07 inches. Load capacity specifications include dynamic ratings of 1984.16 lb at 2.5 mph and 1653.47 lb at 3.7 mph, with a static load capacity of 3968.32 lb, making it suitable for aerospace industry airport equipment, AMR systems, automotive OEM, ceramic and glass manufacturers, production and platform trolleys, and heavy AGV systems.
