Extra heavy duty polyurethane wheels deliver very low rolling resistance and high wear resistance under constant loads. They are well suited for long runs, repeated start–stop cycles, and smooth industrial floors. One example for extra heavy duty polyurethane wheels is our FTP series. They combine a casted polyurethane tread, with a cast iron wheel body, and a precision ball bearing. FTP wheels come in a variety of diameters, with the smallest one capable of statically handling over 1500 kg being 150 mm . In their largest configuration (500 mm), they are capable of statically handling loads of up to 8000 kg per wheel – that's 4000 kg at 4 km/h and 4800 kg at 6 km/h.

Polyamide tolerates very high loads and delivers a hard, precise running surface. However, users should expect higher surface pressure and louder travel compared with softer materials. Within our selection, MOP wheels stand out as a notable example. They combine a robust full polyamide wheel body and tread with a precision ball bearing.
