The Galea stainless is a swivel castor with total lock designed for demanding industrial applications. The castor features a bolt hole fitting for secure mounting to equipment frames. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism, available in either reinforced or stainless steel configurations for enhanced durability and smooth rotation. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body fitted with a solid rubber, non-marking tread that provides excellent floor protection whilst maintaining grip. The wheel operates on a plain bearing system and measures 100 mm in diameter. The overall height of the complete castor assembly is 139 mm. Load specifications include a dynamic load capacity of 80 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h and a static load capacity of 160 kg, making it suitable for medium-duty mobile equipment applications.
