The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total or directional lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, and X-ray machines, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing or retirement homes. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure hygiene and durability. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation. The wheel features a 150 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, whilst the tread is manufactured from injected polyurethane, providing excellent durability and floor protection. The wheel body is also constructed from polyamide, ensuring lightweight yet robust performance. The overall height of the castor is 155 mm. The load capacity specifications are as follows: the static load capacity is rated at 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is 150 kg at 4 km/h or alternatively 150 kg at 3 km/h, allowing flexibility depending on operational requirements and speed considerations in clinical settings.
