The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper functionality and hygiene standards. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, ensuring reliable performance under continuous use in clinical settings. The wheel features a 150 mm diameter with an injected polyurethane tread mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a precision stainless steel ball bearing that provides durability and corrosion resistance essential for healthcare applications where frequent cleaning and sterilisation are required. The overall height of the castor is 155 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for standard medical equipment and furniture.
