The Galea swivel castor with total lock features a rectangular plate fitting with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth rotation and reliable performance. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body with electric conductive properties, fitted with a thermoplastic rubber tread that maintains electric-conductive characteristics, whilst utilising a plain bearing system for consistent operation. With a wheel diameter of 100mm, the castor has an overall height of 141mm. Load capacity specifications include a dynamic rating of 100kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 200kg. This castor is specifically designed for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs where mobility and electrical conductivity are essential requirements.
