The Linea E-Lock is a swivel castor with electric locking system designed for demanding medical and industrial applications including anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, medication carts, nursing and retirement home furniture, nursing carts, surgery robots, ultrasound systems, and ventilators. The castor is fitted with a stem featuring a cam hole for profile bars in short version configuration, enabling secure and straightforward installation onto compatible equipment frames. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for the swivel mechanism, ensuring smooth rotational movement and reliable directional control. The wheel assembly comprises a 150 mm diameter wheel with a polyamide body and features an injected polyurethane tread with electric-conductive properties, supported by a precision ball bearing for optimal rolling performance and durability. The overall height of the castor assembly measures 155 mm, providing a compact profile suitable for integration into space-constrained medical equipment designs. The castor demonstrates a static load capacity of 450 kg, accommodating substantial equipment weight, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 150 kg at a maximum speed of 4 km/h, ensuring safe and controlled movement during operational use. The electric locking system provides enhanced safety and stability when the castor is stationary, making it particularly suitable for critical medical environments where equipment positioning must remain secure.
