The Galea swivel castor with directional lock features a rectangular plate fitting with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism for smooth rotation and reliable directional locking functionality. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body with electric conductive properties, fitted with a thermoplastic rubber tread that is also electric-conductive, ensuring safe dissipation of static electricity during operation. The wheel operates on a plain bearing system and measures 125mm in diameter. The complete assembly has an overall height of 163mm. Load capacity specifications include a dynamic load rating of 100kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 200kg. This castor is specifically designed for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs.
