The Galea swivel castor with directional lock features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races for the swivel bearing mechanism, ensuring smooth rotational movement and enhanced operational reliability. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body with electric conductive properties, fitted with a thermoplastic rubber tread that maintains electric-conductive characteristics for static discharge applications, whilst utilising a plain bearing system for consistent rolling performance. With a wheel diameter of 125mm, the castor achieves an overall height of 159mm. Load specifications include a dynamic capacity of 100kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 200kg. This castor is specifically designed for care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs where mobility and electrical conductivity are essential requirements.
