The Galea swivel castor with directional lock features a solid stem, round fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth rotational movement and enhanced longevity. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body with thermoplastic rubber tread material, providing excellent grip and floor protection, whilst utilising a plain bearing system for reliable operation. The wheel diameter measures 100mm with an overall height of 139mm, making it suitable for medium-duty applications. Load specifications include a dynamic capacity of 100kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 200kg. This castor is specifically designed for care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs, where directional control and reliable performance are essential requirements.
