The Alpha is a swivel castor with central, total lock, designed for demanding industrial applications requiring reliable manoeuvrability and secure positioning. The castor is fitted with a plate featuring central locking mechanism, which enables straightforward installation and provides effective load stabilisation when engaged. The housing is constructed from heavy-duty stainless steel, incorporating two ball races within the swivel bearing assembly to ensure smooth rotation and extended operational longevity. The wheel comprises a 160 mm diameter design mounted on a polyamide body, featuring a precision ball bearing manufactured from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and consistent performance. The wheel tread is an elastic, non-marking, vulcanised tyre that protects floor surfaces whilst delivering dependable grip and manoeuvrability across varied environments. The overall height of the castor assembly measures 200 mm, accommodating standard installation requirements within typical equipment frameworks. The castor demonstrates a static load capacity of 600 kg, enabling it to support substantial stationary loads with safety margins, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 300 kg when operating at speeds up to 4 km/h, ensuring reliable performance during transport and repositioning operations.
