The Lumina swivel castor is a versatile mobility solution engineered for applications including bedside tables, furniture, media furniture, and office furniture. The castor features a stem with grip ring and collar fitting, which provides secure and reliable attachment to various furniture bases. The housing is constructed from polypropylene and incorporates a stem swiveling mechanism that enables smooth 360-degree rotation, allowing for effortless manoeuvrability in confined spaces and around obstacles. The wheel assembly comprises a 50 mm diameter wheel manufactured from polypropylene, with the tread material being identical to the wheel body to ensure consistent wear characteristics and performance. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, which facilitates smooth rolling motion and reduces friction during operation. The overall height of the castor is 61 mm, making it suitable for integration into compact furniture designs whilst maintaining adequate ground clearance. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 80 kg, permitting substantial weight support when the castor is stationary, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 40 kg when the castor is in motion at speeds up to 3 km/h.
