The Lumina swivel castor is a versatile mobility solution engineered for applications including bedside tables, furniture, media furniture, and office furniture. This swivel castor features a blind hole fitting designed for B10 stem compatibility, ensuring secure and reliable installation across a range of furniture platforms. The housing is constructed from polyamide, a durable engineering polymer that provides excellent chemical resistance and dimensional stability, whilst incorporating a stem swiveling mechanism that enables smooth 360-degree rotation for enhanced manoeuvrability. The wheel assembly comprises a 50 mm diameter wheel with a thermoplastic rubber tread material bonded to a polypropylene body, delivering optimal grip and wear resistance across various floor surfaces. The bearing system utilises a plain bearing with spacer tube configuration, which facilitates smooth rolling motion whilst maintaining structural integrity under operational loads. The overall height of the castor measures 71.5 mm, providing a compact profile suitable for low-profile furniture applications. The load capacity specifications are rated at 80 kg static load and 40 kg dynamic load at a maximum speed of 3 km/h, ensuring safe and reliable performance within specified operational parameters.
