The Compacta swivel castor features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting to equipment surfaces. The housing is constructed from light steel sheet material and incorporates a one ball race swivel bearing mechanism for smooth directional movement. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body with an identical polypropylene tread material, providing durability and quiet operation, whilst utilising a plain bearing with spacer tube for reliable rotation around a 50mm diameter wheel. The castor has an overall height of 66mm, making it suitable for compact applications. Load specifications include a dynamic capacity of 40kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 80kg. This castor is ideally suited for tool cabinets, work benches, and transport equipment where manoeuvrability and reliable performance are essential requirements.
