The Stylea swivel castor is a versatile mobility solution engineered for furniture and equipment requiring reliable directional control. This swivel castor is equipped with a square plate fitting, which provides a secure and standardised mounting interface for seamless integration into various furniture applications including bedside tables, media furniture, office furniture, and general furniture systems. The housing is constructed from polyamide, a durable engineering polymer that offers excellent chemical resistance, low friction characteristics, and dimensional stability, whilst the swivel mechanism utilises a stem with swivelling capability to enable smooth 360-degree rotation and manoeuvrability. The wheel assembly features a 35 mm diameter polyamide wheel body with an identical polyamide tread material, ensuring consistent wear characteristics and reliable performance across diverse floor surfaces. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, which facilitates smooth rotation whilst maintaining precise axial alignment and load distribution. The overall height of the castor is 41 mm, providing a compact profile suitable for applications where space constraints are a consideration. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 100 kg, permitting substantial weight support during stationary conditions, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 50 kg when the castor is in motion at speeds up to 3 km/h, ensuring safe and controlled movement of loaded furniture and equipment across standard indoor environments.
