The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth directional changes and reliable operation. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body fitted with solid rubber, non-marking tread material that provides excellent floor protection, whilst the plain bearing system delivers consistent rolling performance. With a wheel diameter of 125 mm, the castor has an overall height of 163 mm, making it suitable for various equipment configurations. The dynamic load capacity is rated at 80 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, with a static load capacity of 160 kg for stationary applications. This castor is specifically designed for care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs where mobility, floor protection, and reliable performance are essential requirements.
