The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth directional changes and long-lasting performance. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body with electric conductive properties, fitted with a thermoplastic rubber tread that maintains electric conductivity whilst providing excellent grip and floor protection, supported by a reliable plain bearing system. With a wheel diameter of 100mm, the castor has an overall height of 141mm. The unit offers a dynamic load capacity of 100kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 200kg, making it ideal for care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs.
