The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth directional changes and long-lasting performance. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body fitted with solid rubber, non-marking tread material that provides excellent floor protection, whilst the plain bearing system delivers reliable rotation. With a wheel diameter of 100mm, the castor achieves an overall height of 141mm. Load specifications include a dynamic capacity of 60kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 120kg. This castor is specifically designed for demanding applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs where mobility, durability and floor protection are essential requirements.
