The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting to equipment. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth rotation and reliable performance. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body with solid rubber, non-marking tread material that provides excellent floor protection, whilst the plain bearing system delivers consistent rolling performance. With a wheel diameter of 100 mm, the castor has an overall height of 141 mm. The load capacity specifications include a dynamic load rating of 60 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h and a static load capacity of 120 kg. This castor is specifically designed for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs, where reliable mobility and floor protection are essential requirements.
