The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth directional changes and reliable operation. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body with solid rubber, non-marking tread material that provides excellent grip whilst protecting floor surfaces, supported by a plain bearing system for consistent rolling performance. With a wheel diameter of 100 mm, the castor has an overall height of 137 mm. The load capacity specifications include a dynamic load rating of 60 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h and a static load capacity of 120 kg. This castor is specifically designed for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs.
