The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, and X-ray machines, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing and retirement homes. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure optimal performance and hygiene compliance. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for the swivel mechanism, ensuring smooth rotation and reliable operation under continuous use. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter with an injected polyurethane tread mounted on a polyamide body, supported by a precision stainless steel ball bearing that provides durability and corrosion resistance in sterile medical environments. The overall height of the castor is 150 mm, making it suitable for integration into various medical equipment platforms. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 150 kg at 4 km/h or alternatively 150 kg at 3 km/h, providing flexibility for different operational requirements and ensuring safe performance across a range of clinical applications and mobility scenarios.
