The Compacta fixed castor is a robust mobility solution engineered for stationary and light-duty applications, featuring a rectangular plate fitting that ensures secure and straightforward installation onto equipment frames and bases. The housing is constructed from medium steel sheet, providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance whilst maintaining a lightweight profile suitable for industrial environments. The wheel assembly comprises a 45 mm diameter polyamide body with an identical tread material, ensuring consistent rolling characteristics and reliable performance across various floor surfaces. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, which facilitates smooth rotation whilst minimising maintenance requirements and extending operational lifespan. The overall height of the castor measures 48.5 mm, making it suitable for applications where space constraints are a consideration. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 80 kg, permitting substantial weight support when the castor remains stationary, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 40 kg at a maximum speed of 3 km/h, ensuring safe operation during controlled movement.
