1. Preamble
Welcome to our website! We place great importance on your privacy and on safeguarding your data. Below, we would like to describe what data we process, when and for what purpose we process this, and on what legal basis we do so. We would like to explain to you how our services work and how the protection of your personal data is guaranteed. According to Article 4 (1) GDPR, personal data comprises all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable person is a natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly. Further information on this can also be found in Article 4 (1) GDPR. This Privacy Policy can be retrieved, saved and printed out at any time. Provided that we state our legitimate interest or a legitimate interest of a third party (Article 6 (1) lit f GDPR) as the legal basis for processing personal data, you have a right of objection pursuant to Article 21 GDPR:

Provided that we state our legitimate interest or a legitimate interest of a third party (Article 6 (1) lit f GDPR) as the legal basis for processing personal data, you have a right of objection pursuant to Article. 21 GDPR: According to Article 21 GDPR you have the right to object to the processing of personal data at any time. We will then no longer process the personal data for the purposes of direct marketing or any related profiling. We also will not process your personal information for any other purpose after an objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the purpose of establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or defence of legal claims (see, e.g. Article 21 (1) GDPR, so-called “restricted right to object”). In this case, you must give reasons for the objection, on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may also object to the processing of your personal data for reasons arising from your particular situation for scientific or historical research purposes or for statistical purposes pursuant to Article. 89 (1) GDPR, unless the processing is necessary to fulfil a task in the public interest (see Article 21 (6) GDPR).

We will also separately point out the right to object in the individual sections (e.g. by the reference: "You have the right to object"), provided this right exists. There, you will also find further information on your right to object.

In order to keep the following Privacy Policy sufficiently clear, we refer by links at various places to information and privacy notices that can be found on external websites (see also section “Social networks and external links” in this Privacy Policy). We make every effort to keep the links listed in this Privacy Policy up-to-date. Nevertheless, due to the constant updating of the websites, it cannot be ruled out that links may not function correctly. 4. Log-Files
Every time you visit our website, we automatically collect data and information from your device's system and store it in so-called server log files. This data is information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (here: website visitor). The data is automatically transferred by your browser when you visit our website. This includes the following information:

  • Time of accessing our website (request to the host provider's server),
  • URL of the website from which you accessed our website,
  • The operating system you are using,
  • Type and version of the browser you are using,
  • IP address of your computer.

The purpose of this processing is to make our website accessible from your device and to enable our website to be displayed correctly on your device or in your browser. The data is also used to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.

The data is used for statistical purposes. The statistical analysis of user behaviour enables us, among other things, to react and optimise our offer as well as to identify security-relevant incidents. Processing for statistical purposes does not result in personal data but aggregated data. These results or the personal data are not used in support of measures or decisions regarding any particular natural person.

The legal basis for processing is Article 6 (1) lit f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in presenting your browser with a technically functional website and allowing you to communicate between our server and your end device. For the latter, it is technically necessary in particular to process your IP address. We have a legitimate interest in the processing of data for statistical purposes in order to further optimise the website for your browser and to guarantee the security of our system.

We keep the processed information only as long as necessary for the intended purpose or as long as is required by law. The recipient of the data is TENTE International GmbH, which processes on our behalf, and the server host, that acts as a subcontractor to TENTE International.

Right to object

You have the right to object. You can send us or inform us of your objection at any time (e.g. by e-mail to privacy@tente.com).

However, failure to provide this information may result in you not being able to use our website or not being able to make full use of all the functions.

We use various services of Google Inc. (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For more detailed information on each of the specific Google services that we use on this website, see our Privacy Policy. By integrating Google services, Google may collect and process information (including personal data). It cannot be ruled out that Google also transfers the information to a server in a third country. As can be seen from Google's Privacy Shield certification (see https://www.privacyshield.gov/list under the search term “Google”), Google has committed itself to compliance with the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework on the collection, use and storage of personal data from the member states of the EU and Switzerland. Google, including Google LLC and its wholly owned subsidiaries in the United States, has certified that it complies with the Privacy Shield Principles. For more information on this, see https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks. We ourselves cannot influence which data Google actually collects and processes. However, Google states that the following information (including personal data) can be processed:
