Integral combines a lightweight single-wheel design with resistance to shock loads for demanding medical use. The version with a 200 mm wheel diameter is particularly suitable for stretchers, supporting quick manoeuvring where responsive handling matters.
The series offers directional locking, total locking and free movement, with quiet, easy actuation. Soft wheel options support smooth, low-noise running, while the enclosed design and sealed wheel bearings help protect against dirt and splashwater.
Integral is available with wheel diameters from 100 to 200 mm and load capacities from 100 to 150 kg, depending on the version. Permanently washable and electrically conductive options allow the specification to be matched to the application’s cleaning and electrostatic discharge requirements.
Integral assist
Integral assist provides electrically powered support during patient transport, helping reduce the physical effort required to start and move a loaded stretcher. Its integrated drive supports manoeuvring and straight travel, making it relevant to repeated transport tasks.
The castor forms part of our WeAssist system and is also available separately for integration into other compatible systems. Installation and calibration must suit the equipment, and it must be combined with Integral castors or other castor types approved by the manufacturer.
Integral assist has a 150 mm wheel diameter, with load capacities from 100 to 150 kg depending on the version. It is intended for indoor operation on level, dry floors, so the transport route and operating conditions need to be considered when specifying the system.
