The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock designed for demanding healthcare environments including anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, hospital beds, medication carts, nursing and retirement homes, nursing carts, stretchers, ultrasound systems, and ventilators. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper functionality and hygiene standards. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, ensuring reliable performance in high-frequency use environments typical of clinical settings. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, combined with an injected polyurethane tread that provides excellent grip and durability on various floor surfaces whilst minimising noise during operation. The overall height of the castor measures 130 mm, making it suitable for integration into standard medical equipment platforms and mobile furniture systems. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 150 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h and 150 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, providing flexibility for different operational requirements and ensuring safe performance across diverse clinical applications and transport scenarios within healthcare facilities.
