The Galea swivel castor with total lock features a rectangular plate fitting with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth rotation and reliable performance. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body fitted with solid rubber, non-marking tread material that provides excellent floor protection, whilst the plain bearing system delivers consistent rolling performance. With a wheel diameter of 125 mm, the castor achieves an overall height of 163 mm, making it suitable for various equipment configurations. The unit offers a dynamic load capacity of 80 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h and a static load capacity of 160 kg, making it ideal for demanding applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs where mobility and stability are essential requirements.
