The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate with US-bolt hole spacing for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth rotational movement. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body with electric conductive properties, fitted with a thermoplastic rubber tread that maintains electric-conductive characteristics, whilst utilising a plain bearing system for reliable operation. With a wheel diameter of 125mm, the castor has an overall height of 163mm. The unit offers a dynamic load capacity of 100kg at speeds up to 3km/h and a static load capacity of 200kg. This castor is specifically designed for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs where electrical conductivity and reliable mobility are essential requirements.
