The Galea swivel castor features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates two ball races in the swivel bearing mechanism to ensure smooth directional changes and reliable operation. The wheel comprises a polypropylene body with solid rubber, non-marking tread material that provides excellent grip whilst protecting floor surfaces, and utilises a plain bearing system for consistent rotation. With a wheel diameter of 125 mm, the castor has an overall height of 163 mm. The load capacity specifications include a dynamic load rating of 80 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h and a static load capacity of 160 kg. This castor is specifically designed for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, and shower chairs.
