The Forma swivel castor with central, total or directional lock features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from zinc-die-casting and aluminium materials, incorporating a precision ball bearing swivel mechanism for smooth directional movement. The wheel assembly comprises a polyamide body fitted with an elastic tyre that is non-marking and vulcanised, mounted on precision ball bearings for optimal rolling performance. The wheel diameter measures 150 mm, whilst the overall height of the complete castor unit is 207 mm. The dynamic load capacity is rated at 135 kg when operating at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it suitable for demanding medical equipment applications including anaesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI, X-ray equipment, medication carts, nursing carts, and ultrasound devices.
