The Forma swivel castor with directional lock features a rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from zinc-die-casting and aluminium materials, incorporating a precision ball bearing swivel bearing system for smooth directional movement and reliable locking functionality. The wheel assembly comprises a polyamide body fitted with an elastic tyre that is non-marking and vulcanised, ensuring floor protection whilst maintaining excellent grip characteristics, and utilises precision ball bearing technology for optimal rolling performance. The castor has a wheel diameter of 150 mm and an overall height of 176 mm, providing appropriate ground clearance for various equipment applications. The dynamic load capacity is rated at 135 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it suitable for demanding medical environments including anaesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI, X-ray equipment, medication carts, nursing carts, and ultrasound systems.
