The Forma swivel castor with directional lock features a solid stem, round fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from zinc-die-casting and aluminium materials, incorporating a precision ball bearing swivel bearing system for smooth directional movement and reliable locking functionality. The wheel assembly comprises a polyamide body fitted with an elastic tyre, non-marking, vulcanised tread material, supported by precision ball bearing technology for optimal rolling performance. The wheel measures 125 mm in diameter, whilst the overall height of the complete castor assembly is 190 mm. The unit provides a dynamic load capacity of 125 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it suitable for demanding applications including anaesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI, X-ray equipment, medication carts, nursing carts, and ultrasound systems.
