The Agila fixed castor is a robust mobility solution engineered for demanding commercial and healthcare environments. This castor features a square plate fitting that enables secure and straightforward installation onto equipment and furniture. The housing is constructed from medium steel sheet, providing exceptional durability and structural integrity to withstand frequent use in high-traffic settings. The wheel assembly comprises a 50 mm diameter wheel with a thermoplastic rubber tread material, which delivers reliable grip and smooth rolling performance whilst protecting floor surfaces from damage. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, ensuring consistent rotation and extended operational life. The overall height of the castor measures 69 mm, making it suitable for integration into compact and space-constrained applications. The Agila castor demonstrates impressive load-bearing capabilities, with a static load capacity of 80 kg and a dynamic load capacity of 40 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it ideal for applications including care beds, catering carts and meal delivery systems, hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, professional cleaning carts, and store fixtures and display systems.
