TENTE, a family-owned business established in 1923, has fostered a close-knit, family-like work environment from its inception. Within this corporate culture, we make dedicated investments in the individual growth and professional development of our employees. Social Responsibility For Our Society
If you closely examine our TENTE cares logo, you will likely notice the two leaves, which can also be interpreted as the images of two people facing each other. This symbolizes our commitment not only to our employees but also to society as a whole.
While our social responsibility extends within the confines of TENTE, we are acutely aware that our actions reverberate beyond our organisation, influencing the broader community. Thus, it is paramount to us to effect positive change, a commitment we uphold on numerous fronts.
UN Global Compact
TENTE International is a member of the UN Global Compact Group, encompassing the entire TENTE family of companies. Since February 2023, we have officially joined this global initiative, cementing our dedication to upholding the UN's 10 Leadership Principles and supporting their Sustainability Goals. As part of our commitment, we pledge to submit a mandatory yearly Communication on Progress (CoP) to demonstrate our ongoing dedication to these principles.
The core values of our new department TENTE cares are deeply rooted in the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Currently, we are focusing our efforts on three specific goals: Gender Equality (Goal #5), Responsible Consumption and Production (Goal #12) and Climate Action (Goal #13).
