Workshop trolleys: Find suitable castors

In a workshop, cumbersome and heavy tool components are constantly transported from place to place. A workshop trolley ensures a high level of comfort and efficiency. The tool can be pushed quickly and easily from A to B with a workshop trolley, so that it is always available where it is needed. The trolley must therefore be equipped with suitable castors or wheels that can withstand the loads and meet the requirements. After all, unsuitable or inferior castors – which are too small, for example, or have a weak housing – mean that considerably more effort will be required.

Requirements for castors and wheels for workshop trolleys
A workshop trolley must be able to carry heavy loads and run well. It is therefore important that the castors have a sufficiently high load capacity. At the same time, they should be easy to manoeuvre and lock, so that the trolley can be moved back and forth easily and also secured safely in one place. Good manoeuvrability is achieved by using swivel castors that can be moved in all directions. A lock on the castor gives it the necessary support to secure the trolley in a stationary position without any problems.

TENTE 4687ITP for workshop trolleys
The sturdy TENTE castors of the 4687ITP series have a long service life and withstand even high loads thanks to their reinforced housing made of heavy sheet steel. The swivel castors can be easily manoeuvred in all directions and a trailing total lock ensures a secure footing when standing still. Depending on the requirements, the treads in this series can be convex or flat.
