The Alpha swivel castor features a medium rectangular plate fitting for secure mounting to equipment and machinery. The housing is constructed from heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races for the swivel bearing mechanism, ensuring smooth directional changes and reliable operation. The wheel comprises a 200 mm diameter pneumatic tyre with line profile tread mounted on a sheet steel body, supported by a roller bearing for enhanced durability and reduced rolling resistance. With an overall height of 240 mm, this castor provides excellent ground clearance whilst maintaining a compact profile. The unit offers a static load capacity of 150 kg and a dynamic load capacity of 75 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications including automotive OEM, catering carts, container construction, electronic systems, machine construction, and various transport equipment.
