The Lumina swivel castor is a precision-engineered mobility solution designed for applications including bedside tables, furniture, media furniture, and office furniture. The castor features a stem with grip ring and collar fitting that provides secure attachment and reliable performance in demanding environments. The housing is constructed from polypropylene and incorporates a stem swiveling mechanism that enables smooth multidirectional movement and effortless manoeuvrability. The wheel assembly comprises a 50 mm diameter wheel body manufactured from electrically conductive polypropylene, which serves as both the structural component and the tread material, ensuring consistent wear characteristics and durability throughout the product's operational life. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, which facilitates smooth rotation and minimises friction during use. The overall height of the castor measures 61 mm, providing a compact profile suitable for integration into various furniture designs and applications. The castor demonstrates a static load capacity of 80 kg, enabling it to support substantial weight whilst remaining stationary, and a dynamic load capacity of 40 kg at a maximum speed of 3 km/h, ensuring safe and reliable performance during movement.
