The Galea swivel castor features a bolt hole fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates a precision two ball races swivel bearing system for smooth directional movement. The wheel assembly comprises a polypropylene body with electric-conductive properties, fitted with a thermoplastic rubber tread that maintains electric conductivity throughout operation. The wheel operates on a plain bearing system and measures 100 mm in diameter. The complete castor unit has an overall height of 139 mm. Load specifications include a dynamic load capacity of 100 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, whilst the static load capacity reaches 200 kg. The electric-conductive properties of both the wheel body and tread material make this castor suitable for applications requiring static electricity dissipation, ensuring safe operation in sensitive environments where electrostatic discharge must be controlled.
