The Anika swivel castor is a versatile mobility solution designed for applications including bedside tables, furniture, hospitals, media furniture, nursing and retirement homes, and office furniture. This swivel castor features a blind hole fitting for B10 mounting, ensuring secure and straightforward installation across diverse furniture platforms. The housing is constructed from polyamide, a durable engineering polymer that provides excellent chemical resistance and dimensional stability whilst maintaining a lightweight profile suitable for frequent repositioning. The swivel bearing utilises a stem configuration that enables smooth 360-degree rotation, facilitating effortless manoeuvrability in confined spaces and around obstacles. The wheel assembly comprises a 65 mm diameter polyurethane tread, which is injection-moulded to ensure consistent quality and optimal grip characteristics on various floor surfaces. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, which distributes loads evenly and minimises friction during operation, thereby extending the service life of the castor. The polyamide wheel body provides lightweight construction without compromising structural integrity. The overall height of the castor measures 67 mm, making it suitable for applications where space constraints are a consideration. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 100 kg, permitting substantial weight support when the castor remains stationary, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 50 kg when operating at speeds up to 3 km/h, ensuring safe and reliable performance during normal furniture movement and repositioning tasks.
