The Anika swivel castor is a versatile mobility solution designed for applications requiring reliable manoeuvrability and stability. This swivel castor features a blind hole fitting for B10 stems, enabling secure installation on compatible equipment. The housing is constructed from polyamide, a durable engineering polymer that provides excellent chemical resistance and longevity, whilst incorporating a stem swivelling mechanism that permits 360-degree rotation for enhanced directional control. The wheel assembly comprises a 65 mm diameter wheel with a thermoplastic rubber tread material, which delivers superior grip and floor protection whilst minimising noise during operation. The wheel is supported by a plain bearing with spacer tube, ensuring smooth rotation and extended service life under continuous use. The overall height of the castor measures 67 mm, making it suitable for compact installations where space is limited. The castor demonstrates a static load capacity of 80 kg, accommodating substantial weight without permanent deformation, whilst maintaining a dynamic load capacity of 40 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, ensuring safe operation during transport and repositioning. The Anika swivel castor is ideally suited for bedside tables, general furniture applications, hospital environments, media furniture, nursing and retirement homes, and office furniture installations where mobility, durability, and quiet operation are essential requirements.
