The Zeta swivel castor with directional lock is engineered for demanding industrial applications including airport equipment, automotive OEM, production and platform trolleys, and transport equipment. The housing is constructed from very heavy steel sheet and incorporates two ball races, reinforced or stainless, which ensure smooth swivel operation and enhanced durability under continuous use. The wheel features a 160 mm diameter and is mounted on precision ball bearings, delivering reliable rotational performance. The wheel tread is manufactured from PUR casted premium material, offering excellent wear resistance and grip characteristics, whilst the wheel body is constructed from aluminium to minimise overall weight without compromising structural integrity. The castor achieves an overall height of 200 mm, making it suitable for integration into compact equipment designs. The load capacity specifications are comprehensive: the castor supports a static load of 1600 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 640 kg at 6 km/h or 800 kg at 4 km/h, depending on operational speed requirements.
