The Linea swivel castor with combined lock is engineered for demanding healthcare and commercial environments, featuring a rectangular plate fitting that ensures secure and straightforward installation on a wide range of equipment and furniture. The housing is constructed from polyamide with a precision ball bearing swivel mechanism, delivering smooth rotational movement and exceptional durability under continuous operational stress. The wheel assembly comprises a 125 mm diameter polyurethane tread with injected, electric-conductive properties mounted on a polyamide body that is likewise electric conductive, ensuring safe operation in electrostatic-sensitive environments such as operating theatres and diagnostic imaging suites. The wheel is supported by a precision ball bearing that guarantees reliable performance and extended service life. With an overall height of 148 mm, the castor integrates seamlessly into mobile equipment designs whilst maintaining optimal manoeuvrability and stability. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 220 kg and a dynamic load rating of 110 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, making the Linea castor suitable for deployment across anesthesia carts, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray equipment, care beds, catering carts, computers on wheels, dialysis carts, medication carts, nursing carts, office furniture, patient lifters, recliners, surgery robots, treatment chairs, ultrasound systems, ventilators, and professional cleaning carts in hospitals, nursing homes, and retirement facilities.
