The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various medical imaging equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, and X-ray machines, as well as computers on wheels and ventilators in hospitals and nursing facilities. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, with the important caveat that washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper functionality and hygiene compliance. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation. The wheel features a 125 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, whilst the tread is manufactured from injected polyurethane to provide excellent durability and floor protection. The castor has an overall height of 150 mm, making it suitable for integration into various medical equipment configurations. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity is rated at 150 kg at 4 km/h or alternatively 150 kg at 3 km/h, ensuring reliable performance under typical clinical operational conditions and frequent directional changes inherent to mobile medical equipment.
