The Linea clinic is a swivel castor with central, total or directional lock, specifically engineered for demanding healthcare environments including hospital beds, anesthesia carts, medication carts, nursing carts, dialysis carts, stretchers, and various diagnostic equipment such as C-Arms, CT scanners, MRI systems, X-ray machines, ultrasound units, and ventilators in hospitals and nursing facilities. The fitting comprises a stem with cam hole for profile bars in short version, designed for secure mounting to compatible equipment; however, washable beds must be sealed in the fitting area by the hospital bed manufacturer to ensure proper hygiene and functionality. The housing is constructed from polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing for smooth swivel operation, providing reliable rotational performance under continuous use. The wheel features a 150 mm diameter and is equipped with a precision ball bearing in stainless steel, combined with an injected polyurethane tread that delivers excellent grip and durability on various floor surfaces whilst protecting flooring from damage. The overall height of the castor measures 155 mm, making it suitable for integration into standard medical equipment platforms. The load capacity specifications indicate a static load rating of 300 kg, whilst the dynamic load capacity reaches 150 kg at speeds up to 4 km/h in one direction and 150 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h in alternative directions, ensuring safe operation across diverse clinical applications and workflow scenarios.
