The Linea low height swivel castor with wheel brake features a bolt hole fitting for secure mounting applications. The housing is constructed from durable polyamide material and incorporates a precision ball bearing swivel mechanism for smooth directional changes. The wheel assembly consists of a polyamide body fitted with an injected polyurethane tread, supported by stainless precision ball bearings for reliable operation. With a wheel diameter of 75 mm, the castor maintains an overall height of just 78 mm, making it ideal for low-profile applications. The unit provides a dynamic load capacity of 90 kg at speeds up to 3 km/h, whilst supporting static loads of up to 180 kg. This castor is particularly suited for medical equipment including anaesthesia carts, dialysis carts, medication carts, nursing carts, patient lifters, shower chairs, treatment chairs, C-arms, CT scanners, MRI, X-ray equipment, ultrasound devices, and ventilators, as well as computers on wheels and furniture applications in hospitals, nursing homes, and retirement facilities.
