Castor and wheel requirements in intralogistics
In the field of intralogistics, wheels and castors need to meet different requirements depending on the special types of application. As a rule, they must allow stable travel in a straight line as well as good turning behaviour. In addition, the equipment, whether AGVs, forklifts or transport trolleys, often needs to be stopped, whereby safety must always be guaranteed. In order to reduce the strain on staff, it is also extremely important that the rolling resistance and swivel resistance are as low as possible, even under high loads. In some areas of intralogistics, other factors such as hygiene must also be taken into account.
Individual TENTE solutions for intralogistics

The E-Drive system, which can also be retrofitted to transport trolleys, makes it easier to start the wheels rolling and thus protects the health of employees.
For tugger trains, TENTE also offers a new innovation as an alternative to the classic three-axle system with guide castors. Series 4681 castors from the Delta product family can function as both swivel castors and fixed castors. A directional lock on the castor makes it easy to travel in one direction, while allowing unrestricted freedom of movement when the lock is released.
