Nothing gets the TENTE fixed castors off track
TENTE fixed castors are available in numerous variants that differ, for example, in terms of materials, diameter, bearing arrangement, or load capacity. We also manufacture individual solutions made of frost-free stainless steel or heat- and cold-resistant fixed castors on request. The castors are used on a wide range of equipment and machines, including laundry trolleys, working platforms and mobile cranes.
When transporting vibration-sensitive goods, the spring-loaded fixed castor can absorb shocks or impacts. If necessary, it dampens unpleasant driving noises and thus enables quiet loading and unloading at night, for example.
When companions need to be very maneuverable, they are often equipped with four swivel castors. However, this is not desirable in all applications, as stability suffers from maneuverability and the carts often swerve. Unlike the swivel caster, which can move in all directions, the fixed caster is much better suited for straight-ahead travel because it is fixed to the transport equipment. In some cases, equipment can only be equipped with fixed castors, for example, if it is only moved back and forth in one direction. However, since such a trolley is not steerable, fixed castor and swivel castor are combined in many cases. The result is good and stable straight and curved travel.
