Plastic wheels from TENTE
TENTE supplies high-quality plastic wheels made of polyamide or polypropylene, for example. Heat-resistant plastic wheels are also included in our extensive range. Plastic wheels usually have low rolling resistance and are resistant to corrosion and many aggressive substances. However, because of the hardness of the material, they can cause damage to the floor and develop higher running noise than wheels made of other materials.
In principle, it can be said that larger wheels, lighter loads and softer floors (such as carpets) diminish the running noise. Plastic wheels can therefore be used on soft floors and for lighter loads with a high level of drive comfort. Certain TENTE castors and wheels made of plastic are washable and can therefore be used in areas where strict hygiene regulations apply, for example in hospitals.

In environments that deviate from the test conditions, the exact properties, for example the load bearing capacity, will differ.
